About Jessica

FOUNDER & ATTORNEY

Jessica Hoyt

“My practice is grounded in curiosity, perspective, and partnership with my clients. My role isn't always to have the quickest answer—it’s to ask the right questions, understand the bigger picture, and help my clients make thoughtful decisions about what comes next.”

Jessica started her career as a prosecutor in Grand Junction before moving to Denver, where she spent eight years working with entrepreneurs and businesses across Colorado. In 2022, she moved back to Grand Junction and brought Growth Legal with her. She then expanded her practice to include estate planning, while continuing to advise businesses and business owners. She helped clients turn ideas into businesses, grow those businesses into new markets, and ultimately transition or sell what they had built.

That work shaped the way Jessica practices law today. Her business clients eventually began asking her a different question: What happens to everything I've built when I'm no longer able to run it? Those conversations led her deeper into estate planning, where she now focuses on helping individuals, families, and business owners prepare for the future and protect what matters most.

Jessica also brings a perspective shaped by her litigation and appellate work. Having seen firsthand how legal problems can unfold when they aren't addressed early, she looks for opportunities to help clients anticipate issues and make thoughtful decisions before problems arise.

Grand Junction has been home since Jessica was a child. She and Zach chose to return to the Grand Valley to build Growth Legal and raise their family in the community that shaped her.
